Okay, yesterday I posted the first method of where to buy car rental insurance in the situation where you don’t have any existing car insurance policy.

Today, we are going to talk about the second method of getting a insurance in place before you rent a car: a non-owner auto liability insurance policy.

Non-owned auto liability insurance


If you rent car often, it would be very troublesome to purchase a car rental insurance everytime you wanted to rent a car. So, you can actually purchase a non-owner auto liability insurance from an insurance company. This may be cheaper in long run if as I mentioned, utilized car rental service very often.


A non-owned auto liability insurance policy will cover you for any car damages, injuries to the drivers and passengers, injuries to pedestrian on the road, medical coverage for you and fellow passengers, and many more in the events of an accident. It would be advisable for you to find out more in detailed from your insurer.

Do take note that this insurance policy does not consist of collision coverage. Most of the credit card company do provide this coverage free of charge when you charge your rental cost to the cards. Check out from your card company and in the events that they don’t provide, you need to purchase it from the car rental company,

The main advantage of buying this insurance policy is that you can free yourself from some hassle everytime you rent a car. So you may want to consider this option.
